Prayer request

Hi friends, this is a bit personal but I need prayers. Please pray for me and my children. We are going through a difficult time. My husband has left me (now ex husband) and I need to find a way to make my own income and become financially independent from him. He is still helping with money, but it is temporary, until I get on my feet. I haven’t worked a job for about 19 years and I can’t work anymore due to my health and being full-time mother as well. (I’ve been full time mother for 19 years). I am learning to do some part time work at home. Please pray for my income, for healing, and for guidance, and also for my now ex husband to find another place to live, so he moves his things out. (He has been staying at temporary housing.) Don’t bother praying for our marriage. He has moved on to a new woman, which means our marriage is definitely over. And I know it’s Gods will for us to be separated before He takes me. I’ve had many dreams about it. I’m happy to be free, but just need to pick up the pieces now after many years of abuse and the damage done to my health and my children’s health as well. I know God has set me free from it and has plans for me and will provide. πŸ™Thank you and praying for you all too. God bless

  1. Dear Mel. I’m so sorry that you are going through difficult times. I have been in an abusive relationship too. And many times I thought God had abandoned me. I had even prayed for Him to take me, but He had other plans. Your relationship with Him is much closer than mine was at that time and I can see even now He is beginning to do miracles in your life. You are a. E

  2. I’m so sorry Mel. I, too, was in an abusive relationship. So I know the pain and damage it can cause. I will definitely pray for you. I wished I lived closer. I would invite you to live with me. But I know God will provide for you. My husband had lost his job, and God provided a better one for us. It didn’t take long. You are always in my heart and on my mind. You are forever in my prayers too. Hugs sweetie

  3. Sorry to hear sister….
If you lived here, I have a place prepared for you and your kids at the Fathers Rest.
I too was separated from my ex 8 months. after becoming born again, by way of adultery on her part. So can relate to what you’re going thru. Light and darkness cannot exist together.
    Will be praying for you.

    1. Hi sis, that’s so nice of you 😊 I don’t need money right now though as much as I need a steady income going forward. (I have a bit saved up). But I have a donation link in the menu at top of page, for if anyone feels led to give something. I don’t know what God has planned for me, but I’m trusting in Him to provide. God bless you sis πŸ™πŸ’–

  6. Dear fellow sister in Christ,

I am sorry to hear what you are going through but please know:

Mat 6:25 KJV Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

Mat 6:26 KJV Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

Mat 6:27 KJV Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

Mat 6:28 KJV And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

Mat 6:30 KJV Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

Mat 6:31 KJV Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

Mat 6:8 KJV For your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

Mat 6:32 KJV (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

Mat 6:33 KJV But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Mat 6:34 KJV Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Our Heavenly father supplied His people with food and water for 40 years in a dry barren desert, fed the 5000 with 2 loaves of bread and 5 fish. How much more will He provide to those who ask Him?

In the midst of the storm(trials and tribulations) He was in the midst of us.

The LORD will take care of our children more than we can take care of them.

Therefore, we must endure and lean on Him(Prov 3:5-6) for He will be our Husband(Isaiah 54:5).

It is only a matter of time until Christ returns.

    God be with you.
