Foolish Virgins dream

2022 Nov 19 Dream:

I was at a train station or airport? Waiting to go, bags packed. My mum was next to me seeing me off. A woman with a wedding dress on ran up to me, she was crying, on her knees she gave me 5 cents and said she would sing for me, she wanted immortality like I could give it to her somehow, and she wanted my ticket. She started singing. My mum opened her mouth to start telling her about Jehovah witnesses, I told her to be quiet, and put my hand over her mouth. I gave the 5 cents back to the woman and told her immortality is free and only through Jesus Christ. I told her to believe in Jesus, and that’s all she needed to know, and she walked away in amazement.

The time is coming very soon, we need to keep our lamps full, with faith in Jesus, and love Him with all our hearts. The lukewarm, and those who don’t trust in Jesus, will be left behind. The woman represented the 5 foolish virgins. My mum is a jehovah witness in real life, but in this dream she represented those who dont trust in Jesus, but trust in other things, like their chuch or pastor etc to save them. (jehovah witnesses believe their church/ church leaders will save them). No one can save us except Jesus.

“Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3 Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, 4 but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5 But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. 6 And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’ 7 Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. 8 And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ 9 But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ 10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut. 11 Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ 12 But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’ 13 Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming. – Matthew 25
